Fire Side Chat: Self-Development Program
At Khaltsha Cycles Academy, our Fire Side Chat: Self Development Program continues to be a beacon of inspiration for our second cohort of girls. Each month, we invite successful women to share their journeys, challenges, and triumphs—reminding our girls that their dreams are valid and achievable.
This month, we were honored to host two phenomenal women whose stories lit up the room and left lasting impressions on every girl present.
Guest Speaker: Nokuthula “Thuli” Sandile

Founder of Nesh Couture and Nesh Brands
Part-time realtor and digital creator from Khayelitsha
Proud GynaGal (GynaGuard Ambassador)
Entrepreneur, mother, and role model
Thuli spoke passionately about balancing business and motherhood with grace. Her journey as a dynamic entrepreneur showed the girls that success is not about perfection, but about resilience, creativity, and staying true to yourself. She reminded them that every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
Guest Speaker: Weziwe Jonas

Born in the Eastern Cape
Works for the Auditor General of the Western Cape
Self-taught cyclist and advocate for perseverance
Believes deeply that “Everything is possible if you put your mind to it.”
Weziwe shared her personal story of determination and self-belief. As a cyclist, she embodies discipline and courage, proving that even self-taught skills can lead to greatness. Her words encouraged the girls to embrace challenges and trust in their own abilities.
The session was nothing short of powerful. Both women spoke with authenticity and warmth, empowering the girls to dream bigger and believe in themselves. The girls were captivated, asking questions, sharing their own aspirations, and soaking in the wisdom of these role models.
They learned about entrepreneurship, resilience, and self-confidence.
They were reminded that success comes in many forms—whether in business, public service, or personal growth.
Most importantly, they felt seen, valued, and motivated to continue their own journeys.
The energy in the room was electric, and the girls left feeling inspired, motivated, and deeply grateful for the time spent with these incredible women.
