Rising from the Ashes in Khayelitsha
On October 16th , a devastating fire tore through the Site B informal settlement  in Khayelitsha, Cape Town , destroying over 60 shacks  and leaving more than 190 families homeless. The blaze, allegedly started during a domestic dispute, quickly spread due to strong winds and the densely packed structures.
